Questions before you book
Do you supply the alcohol?
No. In Saskatchewan the event host buys the alcohol from a Saskatchewan retailer, and we run the bar. Every package comes with free buying lists for your liquor, wine and beer, and for dry ingredients when we aren't providing them, based on your guest count, event length and menu. Unopened bottles and sealed cases can sometimes be returned with your receipt, depending on the store's policy.
Do I need a liquor permit?
Usually, if your event is at a hall, rented venue, park or tent. The host applies to SLGA for a Special Occasion Permit at least 15 days before the event. Private homes with free drinks and venues with their own liquor licence usually do not need one.
How much does it cost?
Our bartending packages start at $450 for Staff only, $750 for Basic full service and $1,000 for Premium full service, and cocktail classes start at $300 for up to four guests. Every event is priced on its own, so your free pricing estimate gives the price for yours, plus GST. You buy the alcohol separately.
Do you travel outside Regina?
Yes. Bold & Boozy is based in Regina and travels to events across Saskatchewan and Alberta, including White City, Emerald Park, Pilot Butte, Balgonie, Lumsden, Regina Beach, Fort Qu'Appelle and Moose Jaw. Travel fees depend on the distance from Regina and are included in your estimate.
How far in advance should I book a bartender?
Book Bold & Boozy at least four weeks ahead if you can. Our books open 12 months out, and after your consult call we can hold a date up to 18 months ahead. Planning something two or three weeks away? Get in touch and we will tell you if we are available.
What reserves my date?
We hold your date after your consult call, and it is booked once your agreement is signed and your deposit is paid. Sending the form and getting your pricing estimate are free.
